Chef de Partie – £20000 / straight shifts West Midlands

A Demi Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working in a popular four star hotel in the surrounding area of Birmingham.

This is a large site with a busy operation so expect to be kept on your toes however there is loads of opportunity for growth and development, as the standards are high and you will get the opportunity to move between departments and work in the fresh food Brasserie, Steak House , breakfast service and the banqueting.

It’s a large kitchen team with many of the Chefs having worked here for several years as they thoroughly enjoy this exciting working environment.

This is a great role for a junior Chef looking for more responsibility and a fast paced environment. Our client is looking for someone who has experience working in high volume whether it be Restaurants or hotels. They only work straight shifts here with very reasonable hours. The hours are 45 a week with an opportunity to get paid overtime of the Chef chooses to work more, So during the summer season you could earn a good sum of money if interested.

*Due to the location it is helpful if you can drive with the location accessible for anyone living in Birmingham, Nuneaton ,Tamworth , Burton Upon Trent or Coventry.*

As the Demi – Chef de Partie you will :

Maintain a high standard as specified work in accordance with the Head Chef’s instructions.

Have the ambition to succeed show  willingness to work and learn everything possible in your time at the hotel.

To pass on all information to your Commis and to enhance their knowledge wherever possible.

To maintain and achieve a high standard of food quality, preparation, production and to assist in service under guidance from your Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or the Executive Chef.
