We’re looking for a friendly, hardworking, and reliable Catering Assistant to join our catering team.

Proven track record of kitchen experience, preparation, cooking in busy service periods is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
  • Keeping the kitchen and service areas clean and tidy
  • Supporting chefs with basic food prep as needed
  • Operating tills and handling payments (if front-of-house duties apply)
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety are followed at all times
  • Setting up and clearing down service areas

What We’re Looking For

  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills and a friendly manner
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
  • Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks

Experience in catering or food service is a plus, but not essential – full training provided

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hours 37.5 per week – includes 5 seven-hour shifts over 7 days 7am-3pm, 11am-7pm
Salary: £29,062 per annum (£14.90 per hour).
