Sous Chef | Central London | £42,000 

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Sous Chef to join a busy, high-performing kitchen in Central London.

Catering for over 2500 daily, alongside a thriving hospitality and events operation, this is a fast-paced, fresh-food environment requiring strong leadership, excellent organisation and the ability to deliver consistently high standards under pressure.

 

The Role

Working alongside the Head Chef, you will help lead the brigade, drive efficient service and ensure food quality, consistency and kitchen standards are maintained at all times.

 

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Sous Chef experience in a high-volume environment, ideally within hotels, conference centres or large-scale catering.
• A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage busy services.
• Passion for fresh food, quality and consistency.
• Good knowledge of food safety, stock control and waste management.
• A reliable, motivated team player who performs well under pressure.

Working Hours

5 days out of 7 on a rota: 07:00–15:30 or 11:30–20:00.
