Fancy cooking for a Billionaire? A Sous chef is required for a ultra high end catering company near Harlow that specialises in food for private jets. You and the team will be cooking bespoke food for UHNW clients – you will be using exceptionally high end produce where no expense is spared. 

This is a 4 day offering with paid overtime available – your 4th day will be a daytime shift. Fresh food experience, ideally fine dining and rosette experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities of Sous Chef

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to luxury standards
• Ensuring every plate is presented flawlessly
• Working efficiently to strict flight departure times
• Maintaining consistency across every order
• Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Following HACCP and food safety procedures
• Assisting with stock control and reducing waste
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

About you

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-end events operation
• Passion for producing beautifully presented food
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a professional team
• Flexibility to work a rota including some weekends
