Catering General Manager | Stroud, Gloucestershire | £46,000 | Mainly Monday–Friday
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Catering General Manager to lead a high-quality catering operation, with a strong focus on fresh, seasonal food and delivering an exceptional service experience.
What the role involves:
- Overseeing culinary operations across the site, ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Leading, developing and training a team of 12
- Working closely with the Head Chef on menu planning, inventory management, cost control and customer satisfaction
- Taking a hands-on approach, including supporting in the kitchen when required
What we are looking for:
- An experienced Catering General Manager, ideally from a hotel or similar high-quality hospitality background
- A strong and confident leader with proven experience managing, training and developing a sizeable team
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with confidence engaging with key stakeholders
- A proven track record of continually improving standards
- A genuine passion for food, strong culinary knowledge and a keen eye for detail
- Good financial and budget awareness
- Strong understanding of compliance, including food safety and health and safety
- An approachable manner with a positive, can-do attitude
