Location: Central London
Salary: £55,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our busy conference and events venue in the heart of Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef who enjoys creating exceptional food for corporate events, conferences, meetings, and private functions while maintaining an excellent work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Resposibilities of Head Chef

• Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team.
• Plan and deliver high-quality catering for conferences, meetings, corporate hospitality, and events.
• Create seasonal menus and innovative dishes that meet client expectations.
• Manage food purchasing, stock control, and kitchen budgets.
• Maintain GP targets and minimise waste.
• Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance.
• Work closely with the events and operations teams to deliver seamless service.
• Manage kitchen rotas and staffing requirements.

About you 

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
• Strong background in conference, banqueting, events, or corporate hospitality catering.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Commercially aware with experience managing food costs and budgets.
• Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
• Passionate about fresh food, quality, and customer service.
• Food Safety Level 3 (or willingness to obtain).
