A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Hotel General Manager to join this beautiful boutique hotel. Set in the idyllic Isle of Skye, this tranquil boutique hotel has 19 rooms across the property.

 

What you will be doing:

• Take ownership of the day to day operations
• Work alongside the owners to meet expectations
• Lead and manage the team including training and development
• Hands on in all areas including day to day operations
• Liaising with guests and ensuring guest satisfaction is more than exceeded
• Managing financial aspects – budgets, labour costs, GP

 

What we were looking for:

• An enthusiastic General Manager or Deputy/Assistant General Manager looking for a step up
• Proven work history with hotels (ideally 4*/5*)
• Experience within a small boutique hotel
• Attention to detail with exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to resolve any issues in a logical and practical manner
• Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and reasonable
• Hands on in all areas and able to jump in where needed
• Excellent financial capabilities
• Happy to be located in a remote area
