Head Chef – Restaurant, Exeter
Salary: £39,000 + up to £7,500 tronc + bonus (up to £6,000)
A vibrant, high-volume restaurant in central Exeter is seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef with a love for Asian cuisine and bold, authentic flavours. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic kitchen team in a fast-paced, fresh food, quality-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading, motivating, and managing a team of chefs
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including H&S and compliance
- Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
- Working hands-on across all sections to support your team
- Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef (minimum 2 years)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Hands-on approach across all kitchen sections
- Passion for Asian cuisine and fresh, vibrant cooking
- Solid understanding of food safety, compliance, and H&S regulations
- Good organisational and basic computer skills
