We have two fantastic Wedding and Event Sales jobs in Cheltenham, both at the stunning exclusive use venue. The positions have become available due to an internal promotion, with the Sales Director now taking on responsibilities across the wider group.
- Wedding and Events Sales Manager: £38,000 – £45,000 + approx. £3,000 Bonus
- Wedding and Events Sales Coordinator: £26,000 – £30,000 + approx. £2,400 Bonus
Wedding & Event Sales jobs in Cheltenham, Highlights:
- Full time, permanent positions.
- Both roles have a focus Wedding sales and planning.
- 40 hours per week.
- 5 days out of 7, usually working one weekend day per week.
- 28 days holidays per year, with one additional day for every year of service (up to 5 days extra!)

Wedding & Events Sales jobs in Cheltenham, Role Overview (both):
- Maximising wedding and event sales
- Conduct staff sales training to ensure sales conversion is the best it can be
- Maximising up-serve opportunities throughout the customer journey
- Meeting prospective clients, showing them around and selling the venue for both weddings and events
- Converting enquiries into tours for both weddings and events
- Liaising with existing bookings and finalising planning details using CRM system for both weddings and events before passing final details over to the banqueting team
- Invoicing clients, taking payments and recording these transactions
- Preparing proposals and quotations for enquiries for wedding and events
- Following up on enquiries & tours to maximise bookings for weddings and events
- Taking clients through their Customer Journey, inviting them to relevant events, touching base and exceeding expectations
- Attend internal events such as food tastings, showcase events and tour days
Wedding & Events Sales jobs in Cheltenham, Candidate Criteria:
Both positions require the same type of background requirements (Sales and Planning experience in a similar environment), with the main difference of the two positions being the length and extent of that experience.
- Wedding & Events Sales Manager would suit someone with 5+ years experience in a lead Sales/ Planning role in a Wedding lead venue. This is someone who has a genuine passion and ability to drive sales across their team.
- Wedding & Event Sales Coordinator would someone who has experience in a similar role and environment, and is looking to develop their skills even further within a highly successful team.
