I’m working with a beautiful, recently renovated village pub just outside Gloucester, and we’re on the lookout for a passionate and reliable experienced chef to join their tight-knit team.
This is a genuinely lovely site – independent, community-owned, and run by a head chef who really cares about their food and their people.
The Offer:
- Salary Up to £38,000 Package depending on experience
- Tronc/tips on top – paid monthly
- Full-time, permanent role

The Setup:
This is a proper fresh food pub, focused on locally sourced ingredients and seasonal menus. There’s strong kitchen leadership in place, and this role offers a great opportunity for a capable and driven chef to make their mark in a hands-on role, with support to grow and progress if desired.
You’ll Need:
- At least a year in a chef role (CDP level or above)
- A full UK driving licence – the location is rural
- Confidence to support and occasionally lead kitchen service
- An eye for cleanliness, prep, and kitchen standards
- A calm, positive energy and a passion for honest food
