Are you an experienced Junior Sommelier looking for a new opportunity?
THE JOB:
- Setting up for service and assistance with cleaning duties.
- Day to day upselling and advising on the wine choice.
- Decanting fine wine.
- Strong knowledge of the onsite wine list.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Min. 1 year of experience as a Jr. Sommelier
- Strong attention to detail
- Immaculate presentation and strong communication skills.
- Can do attitude and ability to multitask.
- Experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel desirable.
- WSET level 2 or above
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends (approx. 10 per year)
THE PACKAGE:
- 38K OTE (base + TRONC + GUARANTEED BONUS)
- 40h per week on a Monday – Friday basis
- Christmas off
- Meals on duty
- Supportive and collaborative environment
