We are looking to recruit a motivated Temp to Perm Chef de Partie for a vital position within the culinary team at a leading private school in Oxford.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation within a busy kitchen environment. Duties will include collaborating with the Sous Chef, prepping ingredients, and ensuring the cooking station has adequate supplies.
Responsibilities
- Follow the guidance of the Sous Chef and have input in new ways of presentation of dishes.
- Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality.
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
- Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role.
- DBS Certification
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of best cooking practices.
