The Belfry Hotel, renowned for hosting four Ryder Cups, has unveiled a grand £80 million transformation project, reinforcing its status as a premier hospitality desination in the Midlands for luxury events.
Scheduled for completion by autumn 2025, this expansion is designed to meet the increasing demand for large-scale events in the luxury venue market.
Resort Director Chris Eigelaar expressed, “The Masters Suite will enable us to cater to major events that were previously beyond our capacity.”
The Masters Suite
The centerpiece of this expansion is the Masters Suite, a cutting-edge 852 sq m events space designed for conferences, weddings, and various gatherings with the ability to host up to 920 guests for receptions and 648 for banquets. Additionally, amenities such as an executive boardroom and outdoor team building space called The Green are included to meet specific event requirements.
In addition to the Masters Suite, the expansion includes the development of a new Leisure Club featuring a range of amenities such as a large swimming pool, family-friendly slide, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, and a gym.
Existing hotel bedrooms have already undergone refurbishment, and two new outdoor event spaces have been constructed, along with the redesign of the Brabazon Bar and Lobby.
