Head Baker Job in Near Witney Highlights:

• £38k to £42k Negotiable Depending on Experience.
• 40 – 45 hours per week.
• Onsite parking at the Production Unit.
• Internal promotion structure
• Our Central Production Unit is staffed by 2 sections, bakery/production.
• Commercial Bakery primarily sourdough and laminated pastry.
• Baking Shifts, Early Starts and Early Finishes times vary.

Job Overview:

• The role requires the Head Baker to work alongside the Kitchen manager to ensure the smooth operation of the bakery/production unit.
• We are looking for a person who can motivate, inspire, and mentor a team to ensure the business operates in the most efficient way.

Desired Experience/Skills:

• A sound understanding and experience in sourdough and laminated pastry production
• Understand and produce costings and reports
• Have a sound understanding of financial reports and IT and spreadsheets.
• Have an impeccable attendance record
• A sound work ethic and the ability to train and motivate a team.
