We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team of a small family-owned hotel located in a stunning seaside location in Dorset. Our client prides themselves on serving fresh, locally sourced food, and they are looking for a talented and passionate Commis Chef to assist in the preparation of dishes and ensure the smooth running of their kitchen.
As a Commis Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and cook food to a high standard. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of ingredients, cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes, as well as ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean and organized at all times.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Commis Chef who is looking to further their career in a beautiful seaside location. Our client offers on-site accommodation and provides 3 meals a day as part of your package, with an additional £9 per day accommodation fee. This means you will have no bills to worry about and no need to commute to work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role, a strong passion for cooking and creating delicious food, and the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have good communication and teamwork skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to follow recipes and instructions.
