- Salary: £25,000 – £27,250 p/a

A wonderful opportunity has become available for a Chef to create, lead and manage an artisan style café & bakery serving the local residential and business community.
Situated within an historic Grade II listed property the café is part of a well-reputed adult learning college and offers a range of delicious meals, cakes and breads using organic ingredients grown on site.
Key criteria for this Café Chef/Manager Role
- Create innovative menus using seasonal produce grown on site with particular focus on biodynamic and organic produce
- Strong focus on presentation and aesthetics
- Promote a Food and Nutrition policy and embed a Seed-to-Table curriculum
- Oversee valuable work-experience opportunities for students ensuring, where appropriate, access relevant qualifications
- Lead, motivate and manage a small team
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards
