A Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen near Worcester. My client is looking for a strong Chef de Partie who has a good background in fresh food who has a desire to learn, progress and develop.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a young Commis who wants to learn and work in a fun and exciting establishment. This 25 bedroom hotel has a restaurant which serves fresh, seasonal and homemade food – when I mean homemade – everything from the bread to the ice cream – working here will excel you as a young chef.
The Head Chef even has a fresh herb and fruit garden on the grounds – so fresh apples, pears, strawberries and micro herbs are picked just before ach service – what a place to work. The Head Chef uses a local butcher and every so often you will work in the butchers practising your knife skills and handle whole pieces of meat and how to cut them down – what a place to work.
The Team consists of a friendly yet professional set of chefs in a brigade of 6 – you will be working straight shifts.
