We are currently working with an innovative manufacturer of high spec Catering Equipment. You must have a background as a qualified chef, with sales pedigree and live within the boundaries of Portsmouth, Brighton, Crawley and Tunbridge Wells to be considered for this position.

 

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

– Selling brilliant catering equipment into the Hotel, restaurant, education, government, sporting arena, café group, contract catering and in general the hospitality market.

– Managing current accounts and growing new customers.

– Working closely with designated buyers and distributors.

– Organising live cooking shows for potential customers and existing customers wanting purchase different types of equipment.

– Cooking and demonstrating at trade shows.

 

Ideal candidates will:

– Be solid, seasoned chefs / cooks with excellent cooking skills.

– Have commercial sales background – this could be with a food supplier or equipment supplier.

– Be honest and passionate about service standards and ensure customers have identified the right equipment for their needs.

– Be passionate about the catering and hospitality industry.

– Have a good understanding of sales negotiation with end users and group buyers.

 

This Operations Manager role is offering:

– Salary of circa £37,000

– Company Car
