A Senior Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen in Birmingham. My client is looking for a Senior Chef de Partie who has a good background in high volume.

Any Chef de Parties who enjoy dealing with high numbers this is the role for you. You will be exposed to covers of upto 250 a few days a week. Because of this you will be working a few day shifts which will be simply prep days. This will be your mini business and in charge of this department – you will be involved in menu development, gp%, stock control a perfect opportunity for the next step in your career and have a few Commis Chefs with you.

Training and guidance will of course be there as well.

The salary for this Chef de Partie role is £20,000 – £22,000 ideal candidates from a strong background in hotels or conference and banqueting.

This role is ideal for candidates in the South of Birmingham including Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch and Coventry. Just off the main motorways this venue is completely accessible.

As Chef de Partie you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Chef de Partie role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out Chef de Partie duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
