General Catering Manager West Midlands

A career changing opportunity has arisen for a naturally food orientated and service standards driven General Catering Manager to join our established B&I Contract Caterer. Only candidates with strong B&I Contract Catering backgrounds will be considered due to the requirement of the role and facilities. Multi-Unit experience not essential but advantageous. Mobilisation experience essential.

As General Catering Manager, you will be responsible for:

– Successfully mobilising all operational aspects of our bespoke Contract Catering client within a new opening.

– Building a team of approximately 10-14.

– Coaching and mentoring the new team – in view to initiating all front of house standards.

– All P&L responsibilities, reporting back to the Regional Operations Manager.

Ideal General Catering Manager candidates will:

– Have excellent experience managing a flagship B&I Contract Catering premises, preferably with experience within a new opening.

– Have a strong understanding of multiple on site concessions and be a keen identifier of point of sale / branding exercises.

– Bring exemplary practices to the operation but be open-minded and willing to adapt and change with the needs of the business as it develops over time.

– Be passionate about food and service innovation to promote exciting, contemporary and alternative dining experiences.

– Be willing to work closely with both on site Chef Manager and Regional Operations Management.

This General Catering Manager role is offering:

– A salary of circa £30000

– 5/7 working week
