A fantastic opportunity has come for an experienced hotel Duty Manager to join the management team within a modern & leading 4 star Hotel in Birmingham. As the Hotel Duty Manager you will assistant the Front office Manager in continuing to deliver these high standards and support the overall functions of the Hotel to continue to build upon this sheek Hotels great reputation.

 

As the Duty Manager you will:

 

  • Ensure all guests receive the highest levels of service from all members of the team.
  • Lead the front office team in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
  • Check the cleanliness of lobby and public areas and communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure the high standards are consistently met.
  • Assign and approve duty rota for all front office staff.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations.
  • Lead the team by example; adopting a hands-on approach, can do, nothing is too much approach.
  • Ensure any guest complaints are handled effectively and professionally and all guests leave with a positive experience.
  • Be the first point of contact and greet all guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Support with training and managing the front office team.

The ideal Duty Manager candidates will:

  • Be confident with Hotel operating system – Opera.
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Currently work at atleast a reception supervisor level and it is imperative that you are confident running Duty Manager Shifts.
  • Have impeccable presentation as you will lead from the front.
  • Have effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Have the ability to motivate a team and create a strong teamwork ethic

 

As the Duty Manager you will:

  • Receive a base salary of £21000
