Commis Chef or Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working within a Michelin property in the Midlands. The Head Chef at this establishment is one of the most renowned in Europe – do you want to be part of his team?

Years ago to work at a Michelin Kitchen you had to have Michelin experience but these days as long as you have worked with fresh food at a high standard (even if it has no accolades) as long as you have the right attitude, the focus, determination and hardworking then you will stand a good chance. The renowned Head Chef is happy to take on any Commis Chefs, Demi’s or Chef de Parties and train them into becoming a Michelin Star Chef.

You will be rewarded with a salary of £18,000 – £19,000 and extremely healthy tips of anything from £6,000 – £7,000 a year. There is live in available as well for this role so if you are out of the area then its not a problem.

The Head Chef is looking for a Commis Chef that has a background in Rosettes, so if you have 1 or more this is the role for you. As Commis Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Commis Chef role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out Commis Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
