A Junior Sous is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen in the centre of Birmingham. My client is looking for a Junior Sous who has a good background in high volume The restaurant is closed over Christmas but for 2017 management have decided to offer the chefs a 4 days on 3 days off working week. This is going to be the norm for the future and this restaurant is doing it now.

This restaurant is one of Birmingham’s finest where all the food is made from scratch, all local and top quality. You will be working under an Executive Head Chef as well as a Head Chef. This place has it all going on – Tasting Menu’s, Themed Evenings, Private Dining Facilities and a Chefs Table.

This is the place to be if you wanted to be exposed to a high end establishment. Located in the heart of Birmingham city centre it is easy to get to.

This is a fun and organised place to work – The Exec will reward you for your hard efforts and what’s great about this place is that it is closed at Christmas .The Head Chef is expanding his team due business levels increasing and looking for a Junior Sous to start immediately.

As Junior Sous you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Junior Sous role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out Junior Sous duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
