A Commis Chef is required for a permanent contract working with a funky South American influenced fresh food Restaurant.
The concept is comfortable, chilled & contemporary environment, serving South American style food using only fresh ingredients and served at a high standard.
This independent venue has a great selection of international Beers, wines and Ciders and let’s not forget about the tequila!
This role is ideal for candidates who live in Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield , Lichfield.

Key Responsibilities:
- To control the food production whilst maintaining a high standard of food quality and production quantity
- To maintain all food production equipment
- Ensure the kitchen area in kept in a clean and presentable condition
- Promote good food safety practices in the kitchen
- To control stock in order to minimize food waste
Our Requirements:
- Previous working experience as a chef
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
- Outstanding problem solving and organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of South American food would be advantageous
