A Commis Chef is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen near Stourbridge. My client is looking for a Commis Chef who has a good background in high volume.
This restaurant is one of finest where all the food is made from scratch, all local and top quality. You will be working under an Executive Head Chef as well as a Head Chef. This place has it all going on.
You may hear all the time from a Head Chef or Owner that “we are pushing for Rosettes” that is officially what they are going for. This is why you could be part of the team that achieves this.
The Head Chef is expand his team due business levels increasing and looking for a Commis Chef to start immediately.
Here are the highlights:
£17,000 – £20,000 depending on experience
Gratuities £2,000 a year plus

As Commis Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.
– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Commis Chef role will be responsible for and involved the following: –
– Carrying out Commis Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
