A Commis Chef is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen in the Midlands. My client is looking for a Commis Chef who has a good background in fresh food restaurants.
We are talking locally sourced food, we are talking 100% fresh – to add to this company looks after its staff and always promotes from within. So if you are a Commis Chef who is looking for a Demi role within 3 months this is the role for you.
This role offer love in accommodation so this role is available for people outside the region or perhaps you live I the region but do not drive. If you are a chef who aims for Michelin this is the stepping stone.
You will be concentring on restaurant service only no conference and banqueting or afternoon tea – all of the focus is about the food.

£16,500 – £19,500 depending on experience

As Commis Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.
– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Commis Chef role will be responsible for and involved the following: –
– Carrying out Commis Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
