A Pastry Chef is required for a luxury country house hotel, the working week is approx. 50 hours working straight shifts on a 2 to 10pm style shift pattern.
As pastry chef you will be responsible for assisting the head pastry chef with all desserts in the 40-seater 2 AA rosette dining room plus the main brasserie, conference and banqueting and course all afternoon teas. Everything is prepared on site and you have a chance to help design and create new dishes plus help write menus alongside the pastry chef.
This is the perfect opportunity for a pastry chef wanting to work in a high end well equipped professional kitchen and get paid hourly for every hour you work!

– Professional Chef experience within a 2 rosette hotel back ground
– Creativity and ideas towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Carrying out the Pastry Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
