Our client is looking for an Education Catering Area Manager for a Temporary period of 3-6 months to cover Maternity leave.

(Previous experience in School Catering Multi Site Operations is a must)

 

 

As an Area Manager you will have skills in the following areas: –

  • Previous experience in Education Catering Multi Site Operation
  • Staff Training and motivation
  • Budget & Finance Management
  • Marketing to increase revenue
  • Professional communication with Clients
  • Service Development
  • Cashless Payment Systems
  • Allergen Awareness
  • Menu development in line with ‘School Food Guidelines’
  • Recruitment
  • HR Policies and Procedures

 

You will be responsible for and be involved in the following: –

  • Management of Unit Catering Managers and Catering Staff in approx. 16 School Sites
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Appraisal and Disciplinary of direct reports
  • Payroll
  • Executing HR Policies and Procedures
  • Communication with Head Teachers and Bursars
  •  Budget Management
  • Reviewing and developing the service
  • Maintain H&S, Food Safety, COSHH and Pest Control and Risk Assessment standards
  • Facilitate special catering requirements such as event days & promotions
  • Marketing the service to increase revenue
  • Menu Development in line with the ‘School Food Guidelines’

 

As the role is to manage multiple sites, a driving licence is essential.
