A very experienced Head Pastry Chef is required for this stunning luxury country house hotel to work along side a very talented Exec chef. You need to have had at least 4 or 5 years’ experience in a similar 2 rosette property or better and be able to cope with running the entire pastry kitchen from menu planning to HACCAP, rostering and more.

This amazing high end boutique hotel is looking for a Head Pastry Chef well versed in all the latest styles and techniques to lead the team in the separate pastry kitchen where they create all the desserts and pastry items for all the outlets on site.

You will be working predominately straight shifts and there for have a decent work life balance. There is live in accommodation available at a very low rate both on site and nearby in the local town with a shuttle bus service run by the hotel.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any pastry chef wanting to step up in their pastry career and help the hotel tak its next exciting steps towards gaining their 3^rd rosette.

As a Pastry Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience within a 2 rosette hotel back ground minimum

– Creativity and ideas towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Pastry Chef role will be responsible for and involved in the following: –

– Carrying out Pastry Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– Creative Input on the menus with own outstanding ideas
