A Sous Chef is required for a busy gastro pub located near Solihull. Situated in a beautiful part of the country. My client is looking for a Sous Chef that has experience in fresh food background with exciting ideas and passion he can put forward to the menu. this role offers lots of support and progression as well as menu input and fresh new ideas is a must. You will be working as part of a team of four chefs in this independent pub, unless you live locally to Solihull you will need to be able to drive as this role in on the outskirts of Solihull.  This role would be perfect for a budding Chef De Partie or Junior Sous looking for their first Sous Chef role Around the Solihull area

 

Perks of the role include closed Christmas day working with all fresh ingredients menu autonomy, they are offering a salary of £24,000-£26,000 which is dependent on experience as well as healthy tips at around £3,500 per year which puts the salary well over £29,000, there is onsite parking for staff. This is a normal working week consisting of 48hour week in 5 split shifts with potential of early finishes and extra time off in the less busy months.
