General Manager Award Winning Pub Company – Up To £45k Basic – Bonus West Midlands

My client is looking for a passionate, dedicated an honest General Manager for an award-winning restaurant / bar group. They are looking for a General Manager for one of its key flagship sites in Solihull Birmingham.

 

You must be a BIG FOODIE, and PASSIONATE ABOUT PEOPLE. Preferably from an Independent business background.

 

You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £40,000 a year, a highly achievable annual bonus of £8,000 making the package a possible £48,000.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

• Recruiting, training and motivating your staff
• Doing regular stock-takes and ordering as necessary
• Handling deliveries
• Maintaining the condition of beer and wine
• Overseeing or liaising with the kitchen
• Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises
• Enforcing health and safety rules
• Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cashflow
• General Manager Requirements:
• Restaurant / Gastro Pub management experience (independently owned businesses management highly appreciated)
• Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
• Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
• Willingness to work during peak hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximise resources.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
