A Sous Chef is required for a new hotel in the heart of Birmingham city centre and paying a salary of £29,000 – £31,000 working a 40 hour contract and straight shifts.

 

This hotel has a brigade of 18 – consisting of an Exec, 2 Sous Chefs (1 required 2 Sous Chefs in total) a brigade of Chef de Parties, Commis Chef and Kitchen Porters.

 

Due to the size of the brigade and the continued success of this hotel there is potential for future Senior Sous Chef roles or Head Chef.

 

This ideal Sous Chef will have a fresh food background and ideally a hotel background due to the dynamics of this fully functioning hotel in Birmingham. You will need to be a Sous Chef who is organised, prepared and can lead and drive the team.

 

This hotel offers straights shifts with a mixture of early and late shifts and you will be working 40 hours per week.

 

There is a number of outlets for banqueting as well as a stunning a la carte restaurant for residents in the evening.

 

This hotel in Birmingham is also closed over Christmas.

 

There are 4 kitchens in total at this hotel with of course brand-new equipment.

 

This hotel is ideally located in Birmingham close to travel links.
