From an early age, Cosmin had a passion for hospitality. At the age of 14, he began training as a baker at the Beccari Institute in Turin, Italy. However, Cosmin did not enjoy working in the kitchen, so he decided to stop the training and switch to a front of house.
At 25, Cosmin moved to London. Due to his limited English, he started in a housekeeping role at the Grand Connaught Rooms. He then began to professionally grow by working in prestigious establishments such as The Dorchester, Galvin Restaurants, Harrods, Pan Pacific, Mandarin Oriental, and The Savoy, holding several management roles.
During this time, Cosmin graduated in Business and Hospitality Management and became a quarterfinalist in the GSS. Additionally, he had the opportunity to work under the management of Fred Sirieix and Alain Ducasse.
Shortly after the Pandemic, Cosmin had the chance to return to his first love, Housekeeping, as a recruiter. He is eager to support and develop others starting their careers in the same way he did.
Fun Fact: Back in 2016, during my trial shift at The Dorchester, I was allocated to a station where Pamela Anderson was sitting. Luckily, I managed to finish the shift and get the job, after putting in a lot of effort and concentration.
