Afrodite is an experienced and dedicated unit manager with a strong background in hospitality operations. While working with Gather & Gather at Oxford Brookes University, she successfully led both the Deli café and The Yard burger restaurant – and became known for her commitment to exceptional customer service and team wellbeing.
Driven by a passion for creating smooth, people-focused service experiences, Afrodite excels in fast-paced, high-volume environments. One of her standout achievements was managing large-scale summer school catering, coordinating service for over 1,000 students from across Europe.
Calm under pressure and highly organised, she brings both warmth and operational precision to every challenge.
Fun fact: Afrodite is famously clumsy – once walking into an open kitchen cupboard with enough force to give herself a black eye (she now always double-checks the doors).
