A wonderful opportunity for an Events Manager to oversee the smooth running of a stunning Events and function venue set in a picturesque location just outside of Birmingham.

This incredible venue has 3 function halls (the largest hosting 120 covers), 2 meeting rooms and private function suites. Alongside this there are two bars which are managed separately by the Restaurant Manager.

As the Events Manager you will be hands on and report directly into the General Manager. You will manage a team of 12 through a variety of Private functions, conferences, weddings and Cocktail receptions.



As the Events Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Successfully overseeing all operational aspects of the Events department.


  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer relations


  • Leading a team of 12 staff


  • Delivering on the high service standards whilst being innovative to improve on these.
  • Oversea departmental payrolls and budgets


  • Ensure all staff are trained according company standards


  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered too.


Ideal assistant manager candidates will:

  • Managed the operation through Wedding services.
  • Come from a Hotel or conference Centre background.


  • Excellent verbal communication skills, be highly organised, passionate and self-motivated.


  • Must have knowledge in running a busy bar.


  • Have their own transport
