Annoyed that you work 60 hours and get paid for 40hours?

A Commis Chef is required for a hotel and spa near Birmingham. The Head Chef has created a really fun and enjoyable working environment and is looking for a passionate Commis Chef who has character, passion and drive.

You will work at least 1 day shift per week (9am – 5pm) which means you will get an extra night off – that is a minimum.

This role is perfect for any chefs that have a branded background, worked in a pub and can cope with covers. You will not be working in conference and banqueting your role will be to work in the restaurant/pub.

The Head Chef does not believe in split shifts, he believes in good old straight shifts, no splits where you come in for the morning and lunch – if you’re lucky get 2 hours off and then back in – none of that. No working 60 hours a week and getting paid for 40 hours – none of that. Here the Head Chef looks after his staff – as you can imagine there is a really good team spirit at this hotel due to what the Head Chef offers.

Don’t think this is a Zero hour contract – not at all – you will work a minimum of 40 hours and anything over you will get paid.

The Head Chef would also be interested in any strong Demi Chef de Parties ready for the next step.
