A Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established in the centre of Warwick who has a good background in fresh food who has a desire to learn, progress and develop. The Head Chef is looking for a Chef de Partie is close to maybe Junior Sous in 3 – 4 months’ time. This is a small independent restaurant with high standards. This restaurant is in the heart of where it is all happening. The owners of this restaurant insist on looking after the staff which means no 60, 70 hour weeks. When working on a late the latest you would finish on a weekday would be around 9:45pm and on a Saturday the latest would be 10:30pm which as you know is good for a Saturday night. No need to worry about conference and banqueting, room service or buffets for a funerals etc – this role you will be focussed on lunch service or dinner service. So all you Chefs who are bored of hotels this is for you. This is a great place to learn and develop as it is a small restaurant they really focus on the standard of food. We are talking 20-30 covers for lunch and around 50 covers for dinner in a team of 3 in the kitchen. Highlights of this role are: £22,000 – £24,000 £60 a week and more in the summer – Tips work out at over £3,000 a year Finish by 9:45pm Nice friendly kitchen and working environment.
