A fantastic opportunity has come for an experienced supervisor or Assistant Restaurant manager to join the management team within high quality, leading gastro pub.

Our client is an intimate restaurant delivering high quality food using the finest seasonal ingredients. You will be working alongside an experienced Exec chef who has worked in London’s top Michelin star restaurants.

There are big plans for 2017, so we are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager preferably from a Michelin / 2 rosette background who is customer focused and has the skill set to lead a small team and motivate them to deliver consistent high standards of service to the guests.

In return you will receive a basic salary of £22000 with tips of £250.00 a month. You will also receive the adequate training to make a sought after Restaurant Manager.

As the Restaurant is situated just outside of the city centre, this position would suit a driver.


As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:


  • Ensure all guests receive the highest levels of customer service.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the shift.
  • Opening and closing procedures.
  • Lead the team from the front and be a positive role model for the rest of the team.
  • Create good customer relations both internally and externally.
  • Manager the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
  • Ensure any guest complaints are handled effectively and professionally and all guests leave with a positive experience.
  • Be the first point of contact and greet all guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Support with the recruitment and training of the team.


The ideal Assistant Restaurant Manager candidates will:


  • Come from a Michelin star / 3AA Rosette background
  • Have experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager for atleast a year.
  • Have impeccable presentation as you will lead from the front.
  • Have cocktail and mixology experience.
  • Have a strong wine knowledge as the client has an extensive wine offering.
  • Have an outgoing personality that leaves a lasting impression on the guests.


As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:


  • Receive a base salary of £22000
  • 28 days paid holidays
  • Extensive on-the-job training & career development.
  • Work 5 out of 7 days with fixed days off.
