Having grown up in my grandparents east London café I was always obsessed with food. Watching my grandfather make all these beautiful pies by hand was fascinating for me. It was therefore only natural that at 16 years old I would leave home in search of a career in kitchens. Starting off as a kitchen porter initially I progressed from there to eventually owning my own restaurant in Hertfordshire.
Over the years I have been fortunate to work at some amazing restaurants and hotels. I assisted in The Tilbury receiving its 2nd AA Rosette, worked for Raymond Patterson (1* Michelin), worked alongside Gilles Quilot as a private chef for the French Ambassador cooking for some of the most influential people on the planet at the time.
Following my second love, Skiing, I then spent a couple of seasons working in France in a Hotel and then in a small mountain restaurant. From there I headed to Spain, my thirst for knowledge driving me to explore as many cuisines as possible. A trip to Vietnam to explore the street food scene was one of my highlights.
Having settled down and having 2 fantastic children I decided I needed to balance my life a bit better and so decided to reach out to Jubilee who had always been good to me whilst working for them as a temp executive chef. Fortunately, they were able to offer me the chance of a new career within the industry I have loved for such a long time. I truly believe my industry experience makes me a perfect addition to any hospitality business looking for solid staffing support.
Specialising in the events field I am lucky to work with some amazing stadia and stunning locations around the Capital. I’m always willing to step back in to the kitchen to assist clients in need when necessary and have done so at Wembley Stadium and The Flitch of Bacon (3 rosette pushing for a Michelin star) working alongside former great British menu contestant and Jason Atherton Protégé & ex Head Chef at The Westbury, Paul Croasdale.
