Dan has worked all over the country in various roles within restaurants and gastro pubs, working in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Essex, London, Brighton, Weymouth, Chester and Torquay. After many years on the road, he returned back home to his roots in Kinver just outside the Black Country to take on a new role a Recruitment Consultant with Jubilee. Dan recruits chefs on a temporary basis and supplies into large pub groups, gastros and restaurants throughout the West Midlands. Dan started with Jubilee in May 2015 and his favourite part of the job is the constant hurdles he has to encounter and overcome on a daily basis. He gets great satisfaction when solving a seemingly impossible problem and the gratitude he receives from that. Dan compares working in the temporary recruitment as like having the biggest kitchen brigade you will ever manage. Building good relationships with all of his staff has created new friendships and a high level of honesty between him and the chefs that are currently out working for his clients.
Dan enjoys a good dark rum, mountain biking and climbing.
