Sous Chef – 28k – 3 Rosettes

 

A stunning hotel near Oxford is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to help keep the 3 rosettes. This is an excellent company to work for, they look after their staff and want people to improve their career. You must have experience in either a Michelin star or 3 rosette kitchen.

 

As Sous Chef, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

  • Proven experience within a commercial or private venue.
  • Proven ability in a similar environment
  • The ability to manage a team.
  • Able to show a nurturing side to bring on Junior Chefs
  • Menu development.
  • Maintain relationship with senior management.

 

The Sous Chef role will be responsible for and involve the following: –

  • Carrying out Chef Duties in a professional and credible manner.
  • Operation and management of the kitchen.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
  • Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
  • Menu Development.
  • Dealing with suppliers and ordering.
  • Developing junior members of the brigade.
  • An element of paper and computer work.
