My client is a small rural country pub near Cirencester in the heart of the

Cotswolds’ with great ambition seeking a Head Chef to run the kitchen, improve the

menu and increase food sales.

 

The ideal candidate is passionate about food, creating dishes using seasonal

produce to the point of foraging in the great local surroundings. This role would suit a current Head Chef or a Sous chef looking for there first head position.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and creating new and exciting menus to cater for traditional and new

audiences

  • Ensuring that all health and safety standards are met
  • Running the kitchen and organizing staffing and rotas, keeping time and payroll

records

  • Managing costs and keeping within a budget
  • Supervise kitchen staff activities
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
